With a Master’s degree in Social Work, Staci is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is licensed to practice in Colorado and Kansas. Staci has been a therapist in various settings, including an intensive outpatient program, VA hospital, inpatient mental health unit and group mental health clinics.
Staci is looking forward to meeting you and wants you to feel welcomed. You’ll feel heard and can be assured that an objective perspective is available to help you process your thoughts, feelings, and actions. You’ll feel empowered and supported. Together with Staci you’ll develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and desires, and promotes your journey to wellness and recovery.
Staci enjoys working with people of all ages, from adolescents to older adults. Her clients can learn about their diagnosis, whether it’s anxiety, depression or other disorders to better understand the symptoms they’re experiencing and ways to cope with them with increased success. She uses many approaches in session, including active-listening, supportive collaboration, psychoeducation, and relationship building. She believes that working outside of therapy is as important as time together with clients, so often encourages “homework.” Staci also draws from modalities like CBT, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. She can provide therapy sessions in person or via telehealth.
Staci’s areas of treatment include:
- mood and anxiety disorders
- personality disorders
- trauma
- work stress
- relationship problems
- military issues
