Lyza Verosky is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed to practice in Colorado. Lyza received her Master of Social Work in 2019 from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Psychology with a minor in disability studies in 2014 from the University of Wyoming.
Lyza has worked extensively with high-risk populations and prides herself on building trusting and objective therapeutic relationships. She has practiced in a 24-hour crisis center, assessing people experiencing depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance use, and providing skills and support for situational stress. Lyza is formally trained in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and worked in homes with families experiencing relational strain, providing individualized treatment to improve relationships and decrease negative behaviors.
Lyza is excited to work more with adolescents, adults, families, and couples, continuing to provide a safe and comfortable space for individual and relational treatment. In addition to FFT, Lyza uses skills from therapy models like solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Sessions are preferable in-office, but also available via telehealth.
